COACH'S QUOTE
"It was a beautiful day for track & field here in Virginia," head coach
Matt Belfield said. "Our three seniors represented UVM in fine fashion in their final competition. Sofia has been not only an excellent pole vaulter, but has been a tremendous role model and technical coach for her teammates. I personally couldn't have managed the vault group without her development as a leader this year. Mia has been consistently excellent as both a student-athlete and well-respected captain. Sonia leaves as a very decorated athlete, but she has been much more than that. She will be remembered for her poise and grace, as much as her unmatched sprinting speed. I'm proud to have coached so many outstanding people this year."
