BURLINGTON, Vt. – The defending America East Champion Vermont women's soccer program has announced its full 15-game schedule for the 2022 season. The Catamounts will play eight regular season home games at Virtue Field. Vermont will host perennial SEC contender South Carolina in its home opener on Sunday, August 28.

- Vermont will open the regular season on the road at Sacred Heart on Thursday August 18.
- The Catamounts home opener at Virtue Field against the Gamecocks is set for a 2 p.m. kickoff. Tickets will be available for purchase at UVMathletics.com/Tickets or by visiting the Gutterson Fieldhouse Box Office on gameday.
- Former Catamount and UVM Athletic Hall of Famer Shelley Addison Smith '94 is the Head Coach of South Carolina, a position she's held for 21 years. The Shaftsbury, Vt. native led UVM in scoring in 1993 and 1994 while serving as a team captain.
- New this season at Virtue Field seven of the Catamounts eight home games will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN3 or ESPN+.
- On Wednesday, September 14 the Catamounts will host Dartmouth in its annual Rally Against Cancer Game presented by Mascoma Bank. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender to show their support for our fight against all cancers.
- Sunday, September 18 is the defending conference champions league opener as we host UMBC at noon. The contest is a part of the Morgan Stanley Peter Baldwin Community Youth Soccer Weekend. It is also Poster Day presented by Print and Mail. The team will sign autographs following the contest.
- On Sunday, October 9 as UVM hosts Maine it will be Senior Day presented by the UVM Alumni Association.
- The following weekend the Catamounts will travel to Durham, N.H. for an America East Championship rematch at New Hampshire. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
- UVM's final home game of the 2022 fall campaign will be Thursday, October 27 at 6 p.m. The Catamounts will host the Great Danes on Military Appreciation Night presented by Milton CAT.

Kristi Huizenga the Catamounts are looking to keep the momentum rolling from one of the most successful seasons in program history. UVM advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history in 2021 riding a historic nine-game winning streak. UVM won its first America East Tournament title defeating New Hampshire 1-0 in front of a raucous crowd of 2,017 at Virtue Field.
