BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont Athletic Department has announced the promotional schedule for the 2022 men's soccer season. The promotions will take place at home games at Virtue Field. The schedule includes a variety of exciting promotions and ticket discounts.

Men's Soccer Schedule

Men's soccer will debut at home on Tuesday, August 30, and face Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. for their Rally Around Mental Health game. Rally Around Mental Health is an initiative that was created to help increase awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health. Led by student-athletes, the Rally Around Mental Health initiative offers educational programming and activities to promote mental health, resources for seeking help, and supports ongoing conversations about mental health through designated games for each sport. Catamount Kids 12 and younger and their families are invited to join the team postgame for a session of Ask the Cats and Kick with the Cats. Vermont will face Syracuse on Friday, September 2, at 7 p.m. under the lights. After the game, families are welcome to come onto the field with their soccer ball and learn new skills from the team and have the opportunity to ask the athletes and coaching staff any of their burning questions. Plus, Redstone is proud to support UVM Athletics and be the sponsor of the Den student section. Redstone will be sponsoring a swag toss for lucky fans at this game, September 2, during the 2022 season! UVM students, find your happy place as a resident at the Redstone Commons, Redstone Lofts, and Spinner Place. 

Vermont will return home on Saturday, September 10, and face Harvard under the lights at 7 p.m.

Men's soccer will honor and pay tribute to #11 Peter Baldwin on Sunday, September 18, and will face UC Irvine at 7 p.m. for their Morgan Stanley Peter Baldwin Community Youth Soccer Weekend. Kids 12 and younger wearing their favorite youth jersey will receive free admission to the game.

Calling all Catamount Kids, our men's soccer Youth Day presented by Healthy Living will take place on Saturday, September 24, when Vermont hosts Binghamton at 7 p.m. Catamount Kids 12 and younger will receive free admission and are encouraged to wear their favorite soccer jersey to the game. Plus, join us postgame for a Kick with the Cats on the field! Bring your soccer gear and learn new skills from members of the team and coaching staff. Youth Day will also include games and activities surrounding Virtue Field!

The women's soccer team will host a pregame Clinic with the Cats on Tuesday, September 27, to kick off the men's game vs. UMass at 7 p.m. Kids 12 and younger are welcome to bring their soccer ball and learn new skills prior to the start of the game. Clinic will run from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. on Virtue Field. All kids participating will receive a free ticket to the men's game. To register for the clinic, please email rallycatamount@uvm.edu by Thursday, September 22, at 5 p.m. Plus, at the game, stop by the Dunkin' table for free samples!

Vermont will play a matinee game on Saturday, October 8, at 1 p.m. and will host Bryant University for Poster Day. At the conclusion of the game, stop by the marketing table to receive a team poster and autographs from the players and coaching staff. This game will also serve as their Spread Respect game. Spread Respect is an initiative that was developed by the America East Conference to raise awareness to ensure equality and safety for all student-athletes, coaches and fans without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. 

Support our troops and support our team on Saturday, October 15, at 7 p.m. as Vermont will take on NJIT for their Military Appreciation game presented by Milton Cat. We encourage fans to visit with our friends from Josh Pallotta Fund, a local non-profit providing critical services to veterans and active military personnel. As a thank you to those that have served or are currently serving, all military personnel will receive a complimentary ticket to the game with a valid military ID.

Men's soccer will Rally Against Cancer on Tuesday, October 18, during their game against Dartmouth at 7 p.m. presented by Mascoma Bank. All fans are encouraged to support the team and cancer awareness initiative by wearing lavender, which is the universal cancer awareness color, to the game. All Rally Against Cancer initiatives will benefit the UVM Cancer Center thanks to Mascoma Bank. Please visit their table for donations, giveaways, educational opportunities and more.

Please join us for the senior sendoff prior to the start of the game on Friday, October 28. The Athletic Department will recognize all graduating seniors at center field before facing the University of New Hampshire at 7 p.m. This will mark their their last regular season home game, presented by the UVM Alumni Association.
