COACH'S QUOTE
"We certainly had many athletes run well today," head coach
Matt Belfield said. "The team results could have been a little better if we would have kept the 1-5 spread a little tighter. Having Jane and Andrew run at the front of their respective races was nice to see and both of them will continue to improve their finish over the next couple races. Steve and Dillon being sub-25 was excellent as well. Clare and Hope rain their best cross country races; and look to be ready to do even more. Overcoming a couple illnesses will be key to the women's success as we head to the second half of the season. We had many rookies and sophomores continue to show improvement in the open races as well. This depth is really important to use; and I like the confidence and enthusiasm I see from the program right now. We will work hard for the next couple weeks to get ready for our best team performance yet when we host the Fall Foliage race in a couple weeks."
