AMHERST, Mass. – A pair of Catamounts recorded runner-up finishes at the UMass Multis Meet to headline Wednesday's track & field action for Vermont.
Kayla Myers and
Jackson Baker led a trio of Cats at the event. A group was also sent across the country for the Pacific Coast Invite at Long Beach State.

UMASS MULTIS
- Myers registered a runner-up finish in the women's heptathlon with a score of 3,986 points. The sophomore ran a 200-meter mark of 27.36 seconds for a new personal record.
- Baker recorded a score of 5,434 points in the men's decathlon for a second-place finish. The senior registered personal-best marks in the shot put (9.77m), 110-meter hurdles (17.12s), and javelin (34.30m).
- Henry Miller placed third in the decathlon with a personal-best score of 5,233 points. The sophomore recorded personal-best marks in the shot put (9.72m), 400-meter hurdles (51.85s), javelin (34.10m), and 1500-meter run (5:15.74).
PACIFIC COAST INVITE
- Kenneth Morrissey placed fourth in the men's 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.83.
- Charlotte Crum was sixth in the in the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.26.
- Alex Siaton ran a time of 10.78 seconds in the men's 100-meter dash. The junior posted a time of 22.21 seconds in the men's 200-meter dash.
- Lauren Triarsi logged a time of 14.67 seconds in the women's 100-meter hurdles. The senior also entered the women's long jump, recording a mark of 5.33 meters.
- Carolena Bellini also competed in the long jump, posting a mark of 5.09 meters.
- Gabby Rausa posted a time of 12.56 seconds in the women's 100-meter dash. The sophomore also competed in the women's 200-meter dash, running a time of 26.12 seconds in the sprint.

UVM's West Coast trip continues with the Bryan Clay Invite at Azusa Pacific University.
Andie Cornish and
Jane Leighton begin the event later this evening, with the running of the steeplechase. Cornish will be running in Heat 2 of the event, while Leighton will run in Heat 4. The Catamounts will be competing in the invite on Friday and Saturday. The meet will stream live on FloTrack.
