BURLINGTON, Vt. – The 12th-ranked Vermont men's soccer roster will feature 11 new additions to the program for the 2023 campaign.

Four different countries are represented in UVM's incoming class, which is made up of seven first-years, three NCAA transfers, and one international transfer.
Gianluca Armellino
5-9 • 160 • F • Milford, Conn. • New England Revolution Academy
- Joins the Catamounts after capturing the MLS Next Cup with the New England Revolution Academy.
- Rated as a four-star recruit by TopDrawerSoccer.
Jake Ashford
6-2 • 165 • D • Shawnee, Kan. • Creighton
- Transfers to Vermont after four seasons at Creighton, where he and the Blue Jays advanced to the NCAA College Cup in 2022.
- Spent the last two summers in the Green Mountain State, playing for Vermont Green FC, and was team captain in 2023.
Nash Barlow

- Returns to his home state after going undefeated at Worcester in 2022, and claiming a New England Prep School Championship, as well as a National Prep School Championship.
- Was named 2022 New England Prep School Player of the Year.
Pieter Bultman

- Joins the Catamounts after graduating from Lexington High School.
- Played club soccer for New England Surf SC.
Niels Hartman

- Comes to Vermont after four seasons at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
- Represented Gibraltar in UEFA Qualifying this summer, where he matched up against Kylian Mbappe and the French National Team.
Owen Jack

- Transfers to UVM from Stetson, where he posted a .714 save percentage and six shutouts in 22 games played.
- Started in 12 games in 2022, leading the Atlantic Sun Conference in saves (53), save percentage (.779) and save per game (4.42).
Carter Johnson

- Transfers to Vermont after four seasons at Utah Valley, where he saw action in 59 games, recording 14 points on four goals and six assists.
- Was the Utah High School Gatorade Player of the Year in 2018.
Jack Labelle

- Comes to Vermont after earning an MLS Next Cup title with the New England Revolution Academy.
