BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont will face off against Miami (OH) at home Wednesday evening. Action from Patrick Gym will tip off at 7 p.m. ET and it will be on ESPN+. Wednesday's game is Military Appreciation Night presented by Milton Cat. Active and veteran military personnel will receive a free ticket with ID.

VERMONT OUTLOOK
- The Catamounts are coming off a 60-65 loss against Colgate.
- Nick Fiorillo had a career-high 23 points and a career-high five threes in Sunday's loss.
- Vermont had three players scoring double-digits against Colgate. Nick Fiorillo (23), TJ Hurley (19), and Shamir Bogues (10) contributed for the Catamounts.
- TJ Hurley leads UVM in scoring averaging 14.7 points per game.
- Catamounts are ranked 42nd in blocks per game (4.8). Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 14th in the country with 2.42 blocks per game.
- Vermont ranks 89th in the country in free throw percentage. The Catamounts have shot 74.4 percent from the free throw line this season. TJ Hurley ranks 5th in the country and 1st in the America East in free throw percentage. On the year, Hurley has shot 95.6 percent from the line.
- The Catamounts allow 66.4 points per game which ranks UVM the 73rd best scoring defense in the country. Vermont has also averaged 14.7 fouls per game which is ranked 28th lowest.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
- Miami (OH) is 6-3 on the year coming off a win against Bethany College (112-70).
- The Redhawks rank 21st in three-pointers made per game (10.7) and 59th in three-point percentage (37.4%).
- One of Miami's strengths is forcing turnovers. On the year, they are ranked 17th in forcing turnovers with opponents averaging 16.4 turnovers per game. The Redhawks also rank 31st in steals averaging 9.6 steals a game.
- Sophomore guard Kam Craft leads the Redhawks in scoring this year averaging 15.3 points per game. The Xavier transfer ranks 16th in three-pointers made per game averaging 3.44 threes.
- This will be the second time Vermont has matched up against Miami. The Catamounts came up short last year in Oxford, OH losing 69-70.
- The Redhawks were picked to finish 6th in the MAC Preseason Poll.
