COACH'S QUOTE
"We had a lot more good performances today to end the weekend. While we have to clean up some technical things in the next couple of weeks, there were many fast times in multiple events on the track," said head coach
Matt Belfield. "Rachel's huge PR in the 800 might be the fastest time in the conference thus far, and she showed there is more in the tank. I thought Jameson's 3k was excellent as well. His last 1k of that race was really gutsy. "Some folks were not at the top of the results, but who had breakthrough success were Megan in the 800, Shea and Ava in the 3k… and for the men, Lucas had a lifetime best in the 3k as well. Alex and Gabby ran especially well in the 200, which we come to expect, but don't want to overlook. Important training week ahead, starting to sharpen up for the championship meets later this month will be the focus."
