Daytona Beach, Fl. – Vermont track and field began a busy weekend of competition on Friday. The Catamounts saw action at the Running Elements Classic at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Black and Gold Invite at Bryant.

RUNNING ELEMENTS CLASSIC
- Ryleigh Garrow finished second in the high jump with a high jump of 1.57 meters which is a new personal best. She was also sixth in the 100-meter hurdle prelims with a time of 15.34, which qualifies her for tomorrow's final.
- Kayla Myers finished third in the long jump with a jump of 5.43 meters. She also finished 12th in the 100-meter hurdle prelims with a time of 16.37 and 42nd in the 200-meter prelims with a time of 27.98.
- Carolena Bellini placed sixth in the long jump as she jumped 5.25 meters.
- Siaton finished seventh in the 200-meter prelims, setting another school record time of 21.54, which qualifies him for tomorrow's final. He was 17th in the 100-meter prelims, with a time of 10.76.
- Finn Patenaude ran the 110-meter hurdles in 15.40, placing eighth and qualifying him for tomorrow's final.
- Jackson King finished 13th in the 110-meter hurdle prelims with a time of 16.65. He jumped 5.57 meters, which was good for 29th place.
- Gabby Rausa ran the 100-meter prelims in 12.48, good for 13th place. She also finished the 200-meter prelims in 20th place with a time of 25.88.
- Bridget Kosky jumped 5.10 meters in the long jump, which was good for 13th place.
BLACK & GOLD INVITE
- Katrina Secinaro finished the 10k in seventh place with a time of 38:31.90.
- Emma Leary ran 38:39.78 in the 10k to finish in eighth.
- Shea Cushing placed 10th with a time of 40:08.22 in the same race.
- Laura O'Brien recorded a 13th-place finish with a time of 41:15.61.
UP NEXT
Vermont returns to action tomorrow for the final day of the Running Elements Classic, which begins at 9 a.m. They will also compete in the UMass Lowell Invitational, which starts at 10 a.m.
