Lowell, Mass. – Vermont Track and Field finished out their busy weekend of competition with the second day of the Running Elements Classic down in Daytona Beach. The rest of the team competed in the UMass Lowell Invite in Lowell, Mass.

"We had a really good day at Lowell, given the exceptionally windy conditions. I'd like to recognize Rachel and Kate for victories," said head coach Matt Belfield. "We had some really good throws today as well … Eli stood out with a huge personal best in the discus. Conor, Abby and Alyssa were excellent in the javelin as well."
RUNNING ELEMENTS CLASSIC
- Alex Siaton was third in the 200 meters with a time of 22.03.
- Ryleigh Garrow placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.73.
- Bridget Kosky was sixth in the triple jump with a jump of 11.31 meters.
- Finn Patenaude was seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.39 and was 10th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.60.
UMASS LOWELL INVITE
- Rachel Barba won the 1500 at 4:45.85 and was second in the 400 at 59.
- Kate Kelly was victorious in the triple jump, which was 10.93 meters.
- Sophia Filali was first in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:05.74.
- Samantha Alexander finished second in the discus with a throw of 39.20 meters.
- Kevin Mills finished the high jump tied for second at 1.88 meters. He also placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 50.98 meters.
- Conor Moses was second in the javelin with a throw of 55.08 meters.
- Kenneth Morrissey was second in the 400 with a time of 52.54.
- Nathan Stine placed second in the 3000 with a time of 8:48.19.
- Nejla Hadzic was third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.91. She was also second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:07.12
- Jake Voynar placed third in the long jump with a jump of 6.78 meters.
- Andrew Ponessi was third in the 100 at 11.04 and fourth in the 200 at 23.03.
- Annika Huber was third in the high jump, with a height of 1.53 meters.
