AMHERST, Mass. – Vermont finished their busy weekend of competition with one last competition at UMass. The Vermont women finished second with 89 points, while the men earned 76.33 points to finish fourth.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The men's 4x400 relay was victorious in a time of 3:24.75.Â
- Ryleigh Garrow placed second in the high jump with a height of 1.59 meters, a new personal best for her. She also placed third in the 100 hurdles, with a time of 14.87.Â
- Jacob Tremblay finished second in the 3000-meter steeple chase at 9:43.46.Â
- Alex Siaton placed second in the 100 with a time of 10.77.Â
- Sophia Filali was second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:05.40.Â
- Gabby Rausa earned second in the 200 at 25.98 and fourth in the 400 at 1:00.35.Â
- Jake Voynar earned third place in the long jump with 6.66 meters and fourth in the high jump with 1.80 meters, which is a new personal best.Â
- Samantha Alexander threw 40.80 meters in the discus to place third.Â
- Conor Moses earned third in the javelin with a throw of 53.38 meters.
- The women's 4x100 relay team finished third with a time of 49.30.Â
- Alina Staten ran 4:46.83 in the 1500 to finish third.
- Andrew Ponessi recorded the seventh-fastest 100 in Vermont history at 10.80 to finish third. He also earned third in the 200 with a time of 22.46.Â
- Emma Leary earned third in the 5000 with a time of 18:30.60.Â
- The women's 4x400 relay team was third in 4:16.15.Â
- Annika Huber jumped 1.54 meters in the high jump to finish fourth.
- Abby Martin threw 35.39 in the javelin to finish fourth.Â
- Kevin Mills placed fourth in the javelin, throwing 53.33 meters.Â
- The men's 4x100 relay team was fourth at 42.59.Â
- Bennett Harrison-Michaels placed fourth in the 3000-meter steeple chase in 9:46.75.Â
