Fairfax, Va. – The Catamounts finished day two of the Dalton Ebanks Invitational in strong fashion, with 10 individual top-10 finishes and two relay top-10 finishes. They also had two record top-10 program marks.Â

"I thought today went better overall than yesterday. So much to highlight today," said head coach Matt Belfield. Jake's triple jump showed his promising talent and Ryleigh, Andrew P, and Nejla had noteworthy performances as well. Highlights from the throws were Emma and Sam in the Javelin and Discus respectively, with Emma far surpassing the standard for ECAC Championships. The men's distance crew were more competitive in their races today with prettu good times and better racing overall. Seeing both Elliot and James win their races was great."Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emma Wapshare placed second in the javelin with a throw of 42.00 meters, which is now good for seventh all-time in program history.Â
- The women's 4x800 earned fourth at 9:48.74.Â
- Alex Siaton was fourth in the 100 meters and finished at 10.82.Â
- Finn Patenaude earned fifth in the 110 hurdles at 15.26, now ninth fastest in program history.Â
- Samantha Alexander finished fifth in the discus with a personal best throw of 41.60 meters.
- Jake Voynar jumped 13.31 meters in the triple jump, which put him seventh.Â
- Pierce DeBoer placed seventh in the high jump at 1.84 meters and 16th in the 110 hurdles at 16.65 meters.Â
- The women's 4x100 relay was seventh with a time of 49.66.Â
- Kevin Mills was eighth in the high jump at 1.84 meters and 10th in the javelin with a throw of 51.65 meters.
- Andrew Ponessi logged an eighth-place finish in the 100 meters in 10.99.Â
- Abigail Martin earned ninth in the javelin with a throw of 34.79 meters.Â
- Ryleigh Garrow placed ninth in the 100 hurdles, finishing at 14.95.Â
- Conor Moses threw the javelin 50.93 meters to finish 11th.Â
- Kate Kelly jumped 10.46 meters in the triple jump, which put her 13th.Â
