Men's Lacrosse Hosts UMass Lowell on Senior Day

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (4-6, 2-2 AE) will host UMass Lowell (4-7, 1-3 AE) on Saturday (Apr. 19) for their Senior Day game presented by MVP Healthcare. The game will begin at 3:30 p.m. and be streamed live on ESPN+ with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

The Catamounts dropped their last game, 15-11, to UAlbany last Saturday.
Charlie Pope and Cullen Decker were the joint leading scorers for Vermont, each with two goals. Seven other Catamounts recorded a goal as well.
Pope was also the top distributor, with a career-high three assists in a single game. Luke Reiter was second with two assists, while five others recorded an assist.
Saturday will be the 11th meeting between the two teams. The Catamounts have won nine of the 10 meetings with the River Hawks, including 18-9 last year. Tristan Whitaker was the top scorer with four goals, while Brock Haley and Reiter each had five points.
Matthew Drimmie and Decker are the joint top scorers for Vermont, each with 12 goals. Max Frattaroli is second with 11, while Whitaker is third with 10.
Reiter is Vermont's top distributor this season with 15 assists. Decker is second with 12, while Zach Davis is third with 8.
Ryan Daly is 4-6 in cage this season and has posted a 10.71 GAA and .536 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS

UMass Lowell opened the season by winning three of its first four games. However, it has only won one of its last seven, which came last week against NJIT.
Johnny Soi is the River Hawks's leading scorer this season with 18 goals. Riley Lawhorn is second with 16 goals, while Garrett Murphy is third with 15.
Danny Burke leads UMass Lowell in assists this season with 11. Colby Frignon ranks second with nine, while Murphy is third with seven.
First-year AJ True has been the primary goalie appearing in 10 games and making nine starts. He has posted a 12.18 goals-against average with a .509 save percentage.
