BURLINGTON, Vt. – Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach John Becker unveiled his team's non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 campaign on Monday afternoon.

Vermont will host six regular season non-conference matchups at Patrick Gym for the 2025-26 season. Last year, UVM hosted six out-of-conference games as well. 

• The Catamounts start their season with two home exhibitions before the regular season begins. Vermont will once again host crosstown matchup Saint Michael's on October 25^th and will host Saint Anselm on October 29^th.
• UVM begins the regular season with two straight home games. The Catamounts will host Western New England University on November 3^rd and then Vermont will host Plattsburgh State on November 5^th.
• The Cats will next go on the road for a three-game stretch. Vermont will head down to Rhode Island to play Brown on November 9^th. Brown went 14-13 (6-8 Ivy) in 2024-25.
• Vermont will travel to Northeastern on November 15^th. Last year, the Catamounts defeated the Huskies 68-64 in Patrick Gym.
• UVM will round out their three-game road trip with a matchup against Buffalo on November 18^th. The Catamounts defeated the Bulls 78-67 at home last year.
• Vermont will then travel to Kissimmee, Florida where they will partake in the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitation at Walt Disney World Resort. The Catamounts will play in the Adventure bracket which features Bradley, Liberty, Princeton, Rhode Island, Temple, Towson, and UC San Diego. UVM will first face off against Liberty on November 24^th. Vermont will play games on November 25^th and 26^th but the opponents are TBD.
• UVM will return home in a matchup against the defending Ivy League Champion Yale on November 30^th. Last time the Catamounts hosted the Bulldogs was in the 2023-24 season when TJ Long hit a three-point shot with less than a second remaining in the game to beat Yale (66-65) at Patrick Gym.
• Vermont will then travel to the west coast for a two-game road stretch. They will first face off against Oregon State on December 3^rd. The Catamounts last faced off against Oregon State was in 2009 in the CBI Tournament.
• Vermont will then close out the road trip with a matchup against Pepperdine on December 6^th. This will be the first time the Catamounts and the Waves have faced off against each other.
• UVM will come back home for a three-game homestand against three MAAC opponents. Vermont will first square off against Merrimack on December 14^th. The Cats will then host Siena on December 17^th. Vermont will close out the homestand with a matchup against Iona on December 20^th.
• To round out Vermont's non-conference schedule is a road contest against Princeton on December 30^th.
