COACH'S QUOTE
"We had a lot of exceptional marks today from our women's team.
Erin Carty's 200 was a breakout performance and is UVM top-10. Bella Fryer, Grace Delisle, and
Sloane Selenis were noteworthy in the Mile and many others had PRs today, highlighted by
Marenn Ek in the 1K and
Siena Stanley in the 3K.
Elaina Mullins also was excellent in her first open 800 of the season. Adriana's best in the 20lb weight throw was her first past 15 meters and was just a few centimeters off the UVM top-10.
I also want to give kudos to the three who got our day on the track going strong with big personal bests in the 5K.
Caroline Deiss,
Shawn Laverty, and
Cassandra Royer all shaved many seconds off their previous bests. Two more big days of competing for both our teams starting tomorrow. We will get rested up and get ready."
