Saturday is Cat Pride Club Appreciation Day, members get double points when chekcing into the game. Saturday is also the America East You Can Play Day, the conference has teamed up with the organization for the last four years. Every America East school is hosting a You Can Play event in the fall, winter and spring. The UVM Student-Athlete Advisory Council and members of UVM's LGBTQ Center will have a table set up at the game for more information on You Can Play. You Can Play is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring equality, respect and safety for all athletes, without regard to sexual orientation or gender identity.

WRIGHT EARNS AMERICA EAST WEEKLY HONORJunior
Brian Wright was named the America East Co-Player of the Week on Monday. He scored once and added two assists in UVM's 3-0 victory over UMBC. The win snapped the Retrievers' 27-game America East unbeaten streak. Wright leads the league in scoring with 19 points and ranks among the national leaders in points and goals (7).

THE CATAMOUNTSVermont (7-5-2, 2-1-1 AE) went unbeaten in league play last week. The Catamounts snapped UMBC's 27-game unbeaten streak in America East with a 3-0 shutout win last Wednesday.
Brian Wright scored once and added two assists to lead the Catamounts. UVM also earned a 1-1 draw at Stony Brook to remain in first place in the league standings. The Catamounts played the final 95 minutes of the match with 10 men. Wright leads the team and America East in scoring with 19 points on seven goals and five assists.
Stefan Lamanna ranks second on the team in scoring with 11 points and
Bernard Yeboah has tallied seven points. The Catamounts are 4-1-1 at Virtue Field this season.
Greg Walton remains the team's top goalkeeper, playing all but 16 minutes this season. He owns a 1.33 goals against average. Vermont has won at least seven games in 11 of the 12 seasons
Jesse Cormier has been at the helm of the Catamounts.

ABOUT UMASS LOWELL UMass Lowell enters Saturday's match with a record of 7-6-0 overall and is 2-2-0 in league play. The River Hawks had a two game win streak snapped last Saturday with a 2-1 loss at Albany. Wulito Fernandes leads the team in scoring with 11 points on four goals and three assists. Guilherme Rodriques and Jay Marchand each have six points for UML. Austin Kroll has played every minute in net for the River Hawks and carries a 1.15 goals against average and 0.717 save percentage into the game.

THE SERIESSaturday marks the third time the two teams will meet since UMass Lowell joined America East in 2013. The teams have played to a draw in each of the prior two meetings. UVM and UML played to a 1-1 draw in Burlington in the first meeting and last year's contest ended in a 0-0 tie.
