UVM dropped a 3-0 decision to Albany in its last match on Saturday.
Brian Wright leads the league in points (19) and ranks second in the conference in goals (7) and assists (5).
Stefan Lamanna ranks second on the team in points (11) and goals (4). Both Wright and Lamanna have two game-winning goals each this season.
Greg Walton has started every game in net and played all but 16 minutes this season. Walton carries a 1.33 goals against average and a .703 save percentage on the year. He has four shutouts this season.
ABOUT NEW HAMPSHIRE The Wildcats enter Wednesday's match with a 10-3-3 record and is 3-2-1 in America East, good for second place in the standings. UNH has won back-to-back games with a 2-0 victory over Dartmouth and a 2-1 win over Hartford in double overtime on Saturday.
UNH head coach Marc Hubbard is in his first season at the helm of the Wildcats. He came to UNH following seven seasons at Division II powerhouse Southern New Hampshire University. He guided the Penmen to the DII National Championship in 2013.
Chris Wingate (16 pts), Fazal Nabi (14 pts) and Chris Arling (11 pts) have all reached double figures in the points column for UNH. Wingate and Nabi have a team-high six goals each, while Arling has handed out a team-leading five assists. Ryan Carpenter has been the team's top goalkeeper, starting 13 games. He owns seven wins, three by shutout, and a 1.01 goals against average.
THE SERIESVermont owns a 34-17-6 advantage in the all-time series against UNH that dates back to 1964. The Wildcats are 3-0-2 against Vermont in the last five matches and have won three straight. UNH earned a 2-0 victory in Burlington in last year's regular season meeting.
