HANOVER, N.H. – The men's alpine and Nordic teams propelled the Vermont Catamounts to their 19th straight EISA Carnival with a victory at the Dartmouth Carnival. UVM recorded 926 points to remain unbeaten on the season. Dartmouth placed second with 841 points and was followed by New Hampshire in third with 791 points.
The men's alpine team finished first in both the giant slalom and slalom races in the team standings, while the men's Nordic team placed first in the classic and freestyle races as a team.

Sandy Vietze placed third, earning his first career appearance on the podium in an EISA race.
Bobby Farrell rounded out the scoring skiers for the Catamounts with a 12th place finish.
In the slalom on Saturday,
Will St. Germain posted his second win of the season as the Catamounts went 1-3-4. St. Germain clocked in at 1:37.97 to win the race. Vietze finished on the podium for the second straight day with a third place finish and time of 1:38.20.
Taylor Wunsch finished fourth to give UVM thee skiers in the top five in the event.
In the women's alpine races,
Elli Terwiel finished third in the giant slalom and slalom races to raise her career podium appearance total to 13. In the giant slalom, Terwiel was fourth after the first run, but post the second fastest run the second time down the hill to finish with a time of 1:58.53.
Laurence St. Germain placed seventh and
Brittany Lathrop was 18th rounding out the top three skiers in the event.
In the slalom race, the Catamounts finished 3-5-8, led by Terwiel's third-place finish.
Kristina Riis-Johannessen was fifth (1:45.90) and St. Germain placed eighth (1:48.30).
In the men's Nordic races
Jorgen Grav won the classic race, his fourth career victory on the EISA Circuit.
Cole Morgan finished second for his second podium appearance of the season and
Tobias Trenkle was fourth overall.
In the freestyle race on Saturday, the Catamounts swept the podium.
Rogan Brown beat out Grav for his first career victory with a time of 25:42.6. Grav was second with a time of 26:09.7 and
Jack Hegman rounded out the Catamount podium.
On the women's side,
Stephanie Kirk was UVM's top Nordic racer. She finished fifth in the classic and sixth in the freestyle race.
Marion Woods was 15th in the classic and ninth in the skate race, while
Mattie Watts was 18th in the classic and 29th in the freestyle.
The EISA Circuit moves to Middlebury, Vermont for the 92nd Middlebury Carnival on February 13-14.
