BURLINGTON, Vt. – A pair of former UVM men's soccer players have joined the coaching ranks.
Carter Lincoln and
Luke Salmon, both 2015 University of Vermont graduates, have been named assistant coaches for the Clarkson and Menlo College men's soccer programs, respectively.

Follow @UVMmsoccer Lincoln will serve as the top assistant to head coach Chris Taylor for the Golden Knights. Lincoln spent three seasons as a Catamount after transferring into the program from Southern New Hampshire University. He played in 38 games for the Catamounts and earned nine starts as a midfielder.
Lincoln graduated in May with a degree in community and international development.
Salmon, who will be an assistant to third-year head coach Eric Bucchere at Menlo, played two seasons at Vermont after transferring to the program from Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia. Salmon was a tri-captain as a senior and finished his career starting 31 of the 35 games he played.
Salmon graduated in May with a degree in education. Following graduation he signed with the Burlingame Dragons PDL team in Burlingame, California. Salmon started 14 games for the first-year team that went 11-2-3. The Dragons won the Southwest Division Championship and advanced to the Western Conference Final Four.
