ABOUT VERMONTUVM (5-5, 1-0) has won three of its last four matchups, including its conference opener against UMass Lowell on March 26. The Catamount offense ranks 15th nationally in scoring as it averages 12.30 goals per game and hold opponents to just 7.8 goals it they picks up a win. As a team, UVM dishes out the sixth-most assists in the country (8.2 assists per game), while leading the conference in clearing percentage (.897).

Ian MacKay leads the Vermont offense as he paces the team in both goals (26) and points (41). Averaging 4.10 points per game, MacKay ranks fifth among juniors in Division I in scoring, while also recording the sixth-longest point streak in the country by tallying a point in 39 consecutive games.

Cam Milligan recently reached the 100-point milestone after his multi-point showing against UMass Lowell. In just 24 appearances for the Catamounts, Milligan matched the current program record of reaching 100 points in the fewest amount of games. The junior ranks 11th in the NCAA in assists per game (2.22) and sits second on the team in points (33).

BARLOW NEARS 100James Barlow is also chasing the 100-point mark, as the senior is just six shy of a triple figure scoring career. Barlow has notched a point in all 10 games this year, including four hat tricks and six multi-point performances. The Glastonbury, Connecticut native has recorded the second-most goals on the team and sixth most in the league (23).

X MARKS THE SPOTWhile winning over 60-percent of his faceoff attempts,
Luc LeBlanc owns a top-15 success rate at the X. LeBlanc has recorded six showings in which he has won at least half of his trips to the faceoff X and won a season-best 20 faceoffs at NJIT on February 16.

BETWEEN THE PIPESNetminder
Jon Kaplan has taken the lead in goal for the Catamounts this season. While averaging nearly 10 saves each contest, Kaplan ranks second in the conference in saves per game, and has piled up the 14th-best save percentage (.545) in Division I. The goalie has tallied six double-figure save showings in net this season, including each of the last three games.

Cam Stafford, Vermont picked up back-to-back wins with a 15-9 non-conference victory over Dartmouth on Tuesday night in the first-ever men's lacrosse game under the lights at Virtue Field.

Stafford more than doubled his 2016 output with his six scores, and was one of six Catamounts registering multi-point performances.
James Barlow picked up a hat trick and added a pair of assists.
Cam Milligan and
Nick Bartlett each added three helpers, and Milligan now stands alone in seventh all-time for career assists with 58 in 25 games at Vermont.

Richie Loftus netted the game-opening score on an assist from KC Beard, but Vermont responded with a pair of goals from Stafford and Barlow to give UVM a 2-1 edge after 15 minutes. Cam Lee tied the game at two apiece at the first minute of the second quarter, but Stafford and
Dawes Milchling struck to close the half with the Catamounts leading the Big Green 4-2.

The teams combined for 11 goals in a heavily offensive fourth quarter, as freshman
Braiden Davis notched his sixth goal in 10 games on a behind-the-back pass from Barlow on Dartmouth's doorstep. Vermont tallied five scores in 10 minutes as Stafford capped off the Catamounts' victory with his seventh score in the final minute and a half.

Vermont registered 53 shots against Dartmouth's 40, and edged the Big Green in ground balls 39-24.
Luc LeBlanc took charge at the faceoff X as he won 16-of-23 (.700) trips to the dot for Vermont. UVM finished 4-for-7 on man-up chances and has now won three of its last four games.
SCOUTING STONY BROOKThe No. 12 Seawolves (7-2, 1-1) are also looking for their third straight win in Sunday's contest. After falling to No. 10 Albany 16-10 in its conference opener on March 19, Stony Brook picked up its first league victory over UMBC 14-11 on March 26.

The Seawolves are averaging the fifth-most goals in the nation, averaging 13.56 goals per game, and are defeating their opponents by nearly five goals each contest.

An Inside Lacrosse Mid-Season All-American, Challen Rogers paces the league and ranks fifth in the country in assists as he dishes out 2.67 helpers per game. Rogers averages 4.89 ppg and is second on the team with 35 points. Matt Schultz leads Stony Brook with 37 points on 22 goals and 15 assists.

Defensively, Brandon Maciejewski and Zach Oliveri have split time in the net for the Seawolves. Maciejewski has collected 53 saves, allowing 7.95 goals per game, while Oliveri has stopped 49 shots with a .538 save percentage.

ALL-TIME SERIESStony Brook leads the all-time series against Vermont 16-0 after topping the Catamounts twice last season. In the teams' most recent matchup,
Cam Milligan and
Ian MacKay combined for 11 points, but Vermont fell to 17th-ranked Stony Brook, 16-13, in America East Semifinal action last season.
