BURLINGTON, Vt. – The UVM men's and women's hockey programs hosted their annual Vermont Hockey Media Day on Wednesday at Gutterson Fieldhouse with food provided by Three Brothers Pizza & Grill in Colchester.

The men's team opens the 2017-18 season on Sunday (Oct. 1) with a 4 p.m. contest against Waterloo at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The women face McGill at the Gut on Friday (Sept. 29) at 6 p.m. before beginning the regular season on Sunday at Providence in Hockey East play at 2 p.m.
