The University of Vermont ski team will host the UVM Carnival on Friday (Feb. 2) and Saturday (Feb. 3). The alpine races will be hosted at the Stowe Mountain Resort while the Nordic races will take place at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Live timing results will be available by clicking the link below.

DIRECTIONS TO STOWE AND CRAFTSBURY
From Burlington to Stowe Mountain Resort: GPS Address is 5781 Mountain Rd, Stowe, Vt. | Take I-89 to exit 10 (Waterbury), travel 14.5 miles on VT-100 North to VT-108 North in Stowe, upon arrival at the Stowe Mountain Lodge, follow signs to the Mt. Mansfield Ski Club for the race.

Craftsbury Outdoor Center: GPS Address is 535 Lost Nation Rd., Craftsbury Common, Vt. | Take I-89 to exit 10 (Waterbury), travel 51.4 miles on VT-100 North to North Wolcott Road in Wolcott, travel 8.5 miles on North Wolcott Road to Craftsbury, take a left onto VT-14 North, then continue on T-25 for 2.9 miles and Take Mill Village Road to Lost Nation Road.

UVM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SKI AND RIDE DAYS
The UVM Alumni Association will be hosting its annual Ski and Ride Days from Feb. 2-4 at Stowe. Come get ready to hit the slopes, take a break, grab some food or catch up with fellow Catamounts all weekend long. ALPINE RECAP OF ST. MIKE'S CARNIVAL
With the combined Nordic results from Jan. 20-21, Vermont accrued 956 points at the St. Michael's Carnival last weekend to earn the victory. Dartmouth was close behind in second place with 946 points. Middlebury tallied a third-place finish with 706 points. New Hampshire trailed in fourth place with 611 points and Colby rounded out the top-five with 529 points.
Paula Moltzan won the women's slalom title (1:26.16) and placed second in women's giant slalom (1:51.78).
Max Roeisland finished second in the men's slalom race while
Sandy Vietze also earned a second-place finish in giant slalom.

CATS IN THE OLYMPICS
UVM will send a record number of former and current athletes to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, which kick off on Feb. 9 and conclude on Feb. 25. The Vermont ski team will be represented by six former and current athletes - Lowell Bailey '05,
Kevin Drury '14,
Jonathan Nordbotten '14, Caitlin Patterson '12,
Scott Patterson '14, and
Laurence St. Germain '19.

Vermont will compete at the Dartmouth Carnival next Friday (Feb. 9) and Saturday (Feb. 10). The alpine team will race at the Dartmouth Skiway while the Nordic team hits the trails at Oak Hill.Â
