KILLINGTON, Vt. – Former Catamount alpine standouts Paula Moltzan, Kristina Riis-Johannessen and Laurence St. Germain will compete this weekend at the 2019 Audi FIS Women's Ski World Cup races in Killington, Vermont. Moltzan will compete for Team USA in Sunday's slalom race while St. Germain will represent Team Canada in the slalom and Riis-Johannessen will represent Team Norway in the giant slalom.

General admission and parking for the event are free but a limited number of tickets for enhanced viewing and preferred parking are available.
 
Last season St. Germain became the seventh skier in NCAA history to sweep the women's slalom and giant slalom at the NCAA Championships in March. Outside of the collegiate circuit St. Germain also reached new heights on the FIS circuit. At the 2019 FIS Alpine World Championships in Åre, Sweden she finished sixth overall in the slalom, the highest-ever finish for her in a top-level event. 
 
In her senior campaign for the Catamounts Moltzan earned All-American honors in the slalom and GS for the second straight season, helping lead UVM to a second-place finish at the NCAA Championships. In January, she also finished a career-best 12th overall in the slalom on the FIS World Cup circuit.

Riis-Johannessen finished her career at UVM with 12 wins and 27 podium appearances. As a senior she was the national runner-up in the slalom at the 2015 NCAA Championships. She won the national championship in 2014 in the slalom in Park City, Utah. In her career she earned five All-American citations.
