The Vermont Catamounts (1-3, 1-1 AE) host the Stony Brook Seawolves (3-1, 0-0 AE) in the second of three consecutive weekend meets at Forbush Natatorium on Saturday (Nov. 9). The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will stream on CatamounTV.

SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
Stony Brook enters Saturday's meet (Nov. 9) with a 3-1 overall record in 2019-2020. Following a season-opening loss to Wagner, Stony Brook has claimed wins over Sacred Heart, LIU, and Siena.

In their most recent win, the Seawolves won to 11 event wins in a 174-119 victory over Siena. Saturday's trip to Burlington marks the first road meet of the season for Stony Brook.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Saturday's meet is the tenth in series history between Vermont and Stony Brook. UVM holds a 5-4 all-time record in the series.

Vermont has won both meetings in the series since Stony Brook reinstated its program in 2017.

LAST YEAR'S MEET
Last season, Vermont took a 171-119 win over Stony Brook at University Pool on Long Island. The Catamounts won the meet's first three events and another eight to finish with 11 event wins.

Madeleine Kovacs won the 1,000 free (10:54.98) and took second in both the 100 free (56.47) and 500 free (5:21.22).
Sierra Sexton won the 50 free (25.28) and claimed second in the 200 free (2:00.53).
Morgan Montgomery won the 200 back (2:07.32) and
Kira Parker won the 100 free (54.37).

In their most recent meet, Vermont took a 160-140 win over Maine last Saturday (Nov. 2) at Forbush.

Vivian Nguyen won both the 100 fly (59.31) and 200 fly (2:11.37). Freshman
Beth Hartog won the 100 back (59.99) and the 200 back (2:08.88). The Catamounts swept the 500 free with
Mina Poppas (5:15.45),

MURPHY RECOGNIZED AGAIN | Release
Junior captain
Emily Murphy earned America East Female Diver of the Week honors for the second time this season for her performance on the boards against Maine (Nov. 2). The Greenwich, Connecticut native won the three-meter board with a score of 249.15 and took second on the one-meter board with a score of 240.90.
