LYME, N.H. –
Patrick McConville earned his first career collegiate win in the giant slalom Sunday afternoon from the Dartmouth Skiway.
Mille Graesdal led the women's squad finishing third overall in the NCAA qualifying event which was a makeup for the Dartmouth Carnival giant slalom which was postponed February 8.

McConville had the fastest first run time in the field at 1:01.91. He finished with combined time of 2:01.47 just two hundredths of a second ahead of Middlebury's Justin Alkier. McConville continued his strong skiing of late, he finished second overall in the Middlebury and Dartmouth Carnival slalom races.
Vermont's
Max Roeisland finished in sixth place, earning a two-run time of 2:01.73. Rounding out the top three Vermont finishers was
Spencer Smith, who came in 11th overall with a time of 2:01.95. Smith's second run time of 59.02 was the third fastest in the field.
Graesdal earned her second podium of the season with a combined time of 2:03.16. Her second run time of 59.90 was the fastest in the field. Next for the Catamounts was
Francesca English, who came in with a combined time of 2:04.28 to place fifth overall. Rachael Desrochers (9th, 2:05.03) and
Josefine Selvaag (10th, 2:05.20) also earned top-10 finishes for Vermont.
Vermont returns to action next weekend (Feb. 22-23) at the Bates Carnival which will also serve as the NCAA East Regional. Alpine races will take place at Sunday River in Newry, Maine while the Nordic action will be staged at Black Mountain in Rumford, Maine.
