Ben Ogden, a Mechanical Engineering major, is our first TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week of the second semester.

Ogden earned 94 team points with two podium finishes for the Catamounts this past weekend at the UVM Carnival. He qualified first overall in Friday's classic sprint and skied into the semifinals, finishing as the top EISA skier in the event. On Saturday he finished third overall in the men's 10k Freestyle with a time of 26:32.7, just 9.9 seconds behind his teammate and the race winner
Karl Schulz.
Overall it was another solid weekend for the UVM ski team as they won their second straight EISA Carnival of the 2020 campaign. They won the carnival with a total of 903 points, 28 ahead of second-place Middlebury.
The EISA circuit continues this weekend at the Colby Carnival on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 with alpine action at Sugarloaf and the Nordic competition at Quarry Road. Friday's races are the giant slalom, the women's 10k classic and the men's 15k classic.
