SKIING NOTEBOOK
After three straight wins this season the Vermont ski team continues the EISA circuit this weekend at the Bates Carnival. The Nordic competition will take place at Black Mountain in Rumford, Maine and the alpine competition will be held at Sunday River in Newry, Maine.

CATAMOUNTS 2020 WINNING STREAK
2020 has marked the first time Vermont has won the first three carnivals of the EISA campaign since 2015. In 2015 the Catamounts won all five carnivals and the EISA Championship. Last season Vermont won three EISA carnivals – St. Lawrence, UVM and Dartmouth. At the 2019 Bates Carnival, which was also the EISA Championship, Vermont finished second eight points behind Dartmouth.

HARMEYER AND LINDSTOL NAMED EISA SKIERS OF THE WEEK
After leading the Catamounts at the Colby Carnvial last weekend
Bill Harmeyer and
Joachim Jagge Lindstol were named EISA Skiers of the Week. Harmeyer finished third in last Friday's 10k Skate and fourth in Saturday's 15k Classic. He earned a total of 85 points for the Catamounts. Lindstol finished in second place for the Catamounts in the giant slalom and slalom earning 94 points. In six races this season Lindstol has earned five podium finishes.
