Francesca English split the slalom races on Saturday as the Catamounts continued their successful EISA campaign from the Proctor Ski Area Saturday at the first-ever Boston College Carnival.

Women's Slalom Results
Clément had the fastest first run in the early race posting a mark of 45.12. It was .04 faster than Plymouth State's Mathilde Nelles' first run. Clément (1:32.00) maintained that .04 margin of victory after both skied a second run of 46.88. English finished third overall in the early race with a two-run time of 1:32.18.
Rachael DesRochers was the Catamounts final scorer placing fifth overall with a time of 1:33.62.
Josefine Selvaag (6th) and
Ella Renzoni (9th) also finished in the top-10 in the first race.
English had the second fastest first and second run in the later race to secure her second EISA slalom win of season with a combined time of 1:38.02. Clément earned another podium placing second with a two-run time of 1:38.74.
Josefine Selvaag was the UVM's final scorer of the day placing fourth overall with a combined time of 1:39.76. DesRochers and Renzoni placed fifth and sixth as well meaning the Catamounts closed the women's alpine portion of the schedule claiming five of the top six spots in the final race of the campaign.
The EISA season wraps up tomorrow with two men's slalom races from the Proctor Ski Area. Select women's alpine student-athletes will be back in action at the 2021 NCAA Skiing Championships hosted by the University of New Hampshire March 10-13.
