ANDOVER, N.H. – The Catamount trio of
Declan McCormack,
Mathias Tefre and
Raphael Quenneville combined to sweep the podium of both slalom races Sunday in EISA action from the Proctor Ski Area. UVM amassed 282 team points the most possible.

Tefre sealed his fourth win of the season with a second run time of 44.79 in the first slalom of the day. His combined run time of 1:31.71 was three-hundredths of a second faster than his teammate
Declan McCormack. Quenneville placed third overall with a combined run mark of 1:32.44.
McCormack couldn't be denied his first win of the season in the second slalom of the day. After tying Tefre for the second fastest first run (45.21) in the field he put down the fastest second run in the field to finish in a two-run time of 1:28.30. Tefre placed second overall with a combined time of 1:28.59. Quenneville was once again the Catamounts final scorer sitting in third overall with a two-run time of 1:28.61. First-year
Diego Holscher earned his first career EISA top-10 placing sixth overall. His second run time of 43.12 was the second fastest in the field.
The men's alpine team finished the EISA campaign having a Catamount win seven of the eight races competed. Tefre won four individually, claiming three giant slalom wins and today's slalom victory.
Select men's alpine student-athletes will be back in action at the 2021 NCAA Skiing Championships hosted by the University of New Hampshire March 10-13.
