Cornell enters his senior season coming off his most productive year as a Catamount, albeit shortened because of the Covid-19 pandemic. He saw action in three games and made a career-high 10 saves in first-half action of the season opener at Holy Cross. Cornell finished 2020 with a 7.21 goals against average and .656 save percentage.
Decker captained the 2020 squad and once again will be the anchor of the defensive midfield in 2021. He has played in all but two games in his career racking up 27 ground balls and forcing seven turnovers.
Limoges was on track to regain his 2018 All-Rookie Team form last season before it was cut short. He started all four games a year ago finishing the season with six goals and seven points including a hat trick in the season opener at Holy Cross. Limoges is Vermont's active leading scorer with 45 career goals and 63 total points.
Vermont was picked to finish fourth in yesterday's America East Preseason Coaches Poll and begins the season on Feb. 27 at Bryant. The Cats take on UMass Lowell on March 6 in their home opener at Virtue Field.*
