COACH'S QUOTE
"It was great to score four goals and the fact that we converted in the first minute and in the final minute just shows how determined our players were to get this result," head coach
Kate Pfeifer said. "We didn't have the stretches of possession we've had in previous games but we capitalized when we needed to and responded every time we were scored on. They showed a lot of resilience today."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cats wasted no time getting on the board. Lydia Maitland sent home her first goal of the season just one minute into the game on an assist from Claudia Cotter.

- UC Davis tied the game eight minutes into the second half on a penalty stroke goal from Milou Korthouwer – her first of the season.
- The Cats answered right back on a penalty corner to start the fourth quarter. Clodagh Ferry's shot from the top of the circle deflected off of goalkeeper Kallie Wagnon's stick and in to give UVM a 3-2 lead.
- With just three minutes left UC Davis tied the game off a penalty corner of it's own. Madison Theodore got credit for the goal on assists from Emily Chen and Izzy Porco.
- UVM earned a penalty corner with just 30 seconds left in the contest. Kate Hall pounced on a rebound in front and sent the Cats to their second victory of the season. Maitland was credited with the assist.
