BOSTON – Senior Kira Parker was named America East Swimmer of the Week and first year Sarah Campbell was named America East Diver of the Week by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Parker won the 50 free and the 100 back for the Catamounts Saturday at URI in the Catamounts final dual meet of the regular season. Parker also helped UVM earn a win in the 400 medley relay. Parker was tied for the team lead this season with 10 individual wins.
 
Parker is the third Catamount this season to earned Swimmer of the Week recognition. First year Jackie House (October 6) and junior Mina Poppas (November 23) previously received the honor.
 
Campbell earned the first America East honor of her career after winning the one-meter and three-meter diving Saturday afternoon at URI. She posted 219.30 points in the one-meter and 227.55 points in the three-meter for the wins.
 
Vermont will return to action February 10-13 at the 2022 America East Swimming and Diving Championships. WPI will host the meet in Worcester, Mass. Day one of the competition will feature women's one-meter diving, the 800 free relay and 200 medley relay.
