BOSTON – America East announced its All-League honorees for the 2022 men's soccer season, which featured 10 Catamounts. Vermont had matched a program record with four Catamounts on the All-Conference First Team.

Max Murray,
Alex Nagy,
Noah Egan, and
Nate Silveira make up the quartet of Catamounts on the All-Conference First Team.
Nagy and Egan receive First Team recognition for the third consecutive season. The UVM duo were named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List at the start of the season. Nagy leads Vermont with a career-high seven goals and 21 points in 12 games played this season. Egan has been a defensive stalwart this season, helping the Cats produce a league-best 0.53 goals against average.
Silveira, the reigning America East Goalkeeper of the Year, returns to the All-Conference First Team for the second straight season. The East Providence, R.I. native ranks in the nation's top 10 in goals against average (.516), shutouts (8), and save percentage (.826).
Murray receives the first All-Conference honor of his career after matching Nagy with a team-high seven goals this season. Converted to a forward this season, the Kennebunkport, Maine native tallied a career-high 19 points, and earned three consecutive Offensive Player of the Week awards by the league.
Four more Catamounts make up the All-Conference Second Team, with
Zach Barrett honored for the second consecutive season. Midfielders
Adrian Schulze Solano and
Yves Borie were also named to the Second Team, along with transfer forward
Yaniv Bazini.
Barrett, Borie, and Schulze Solano all played key roles in Vermont's team goals against average, and shutout percentage, which both ranked in the nation's top 10. Bazini was third on the team in goals (4) in his first season with the Catamounts.
First-year forward Noe Coutiño earned All-Rookie honors, marking the third straight season that a Catamount received the honor. Coutiño registered one assist in nine games played, and received a Rookie of the Week honor by America East.
Egan and
Daniel Pacella rounded out the Catamounts receiving All-League honors, receiving recognition on the All-Academic Team. Egan carries a 3.43 GPA as a Mechanical Engineering major. Pacella has accumulated a 3.53 GPA while studying Business Administration.
The second-seeded Catamounts will host an America East Semifinal on Thursday (Nov. 10) at Virtue Field. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. and will broadcast live on ESPN+.
