SWIMMING AND DIVING NOTEBOOK
The Vermont swimming and diving team (5-2, 2-1 America East) will head to Amherst, Massachusetts on Saturday (Dec. 3) for a dual meet with UMass and Binghamton. The meet will take place at the Joseph R. Rogers, Jr. Pool with the start time for the meet scheduled for 9:45 a.m. The dual meet will not be streamed live.
MEET OUTLOOK
Vermont, UMass and Binghamton will compete in a full day meet that includes diving and swimming competitions. The diving portion of the competition will begin with the one-meter men's and three-meter women's diving events at 9:45 a.m. The swimming competition will begin at 1 p.m. with the three teams competing in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays as well as the 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle. The teams will also compete in the 100 and 200 backstroke and fly, as well as the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM.
WHAT'S NEXT
Following the Catamounts dual meet at UMass UVM will travel to Loudonville, N.Y. where they will take on Siena in their final road meet of the season on Sunday, January 15. The start time for that meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
HOMECOMING
Vermont's final meet of the season at Forbush Natatorium will come on Saturday, January 21 against Rhode Island. The meet will be the Catamounts Senior Day Presented by The Alumni Association. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. and will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV.
