WORCESTER, Mass. – UVM's

Cailin Campbell,
Ella Church and
Mina Poppas earned All-Conference honors Thursday evening winning the 800 free relay with a UVM record time of 7:20.94. After the first day of competition the Catamounts sit in third place with 94 team points. After claiming four of the top-seven places in 1m diving Binghamton leads with 134 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- House set a new first year record in the 200 free swimming in the lead off spot for the Catamounts in the 800 free relay. Her time of 1:49.39 broke Sierra Sexton's mark set in 2017. UVM's quartet won the race by 4.5 seconds ahead of New Hampshire.
- The championships started with women's 1m diving in the afternoon. First year Sarah Campbell qualified for the finals with a preliminary round score of 217.60. She qualified in fifth place. In the finals, she recorded a 225.65 to finish in fourth place, earning 15 team points for UVM.
- In the final event of session one the Catamounts 200 medley relay team of Kira Parker, Poppas, Hally Laney and Cailin Campbell placed third overall for Vermont in a time of 1:44.34.
- The Catamounts also had an all first-year squad competing in the 200 medley relay. Alexis Torykian, Ellie Russin, Cassie Woodson and Charlie Ramey set a first year record with a time of 1:47.51.

The Catamounts are back in action tomorrow for day two of the championships and the first day of a full schedule. UVM will compete in 3m diving, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 200 free relay A full schedule for the meet is available at
