HANOVER, N.H. –
Moa Clementson and
Joachim Jagge Lindstol won their respective slalom races Saturday as the Catamounts came from third place after day one to claim the 99
th Dartmouth Carnival. Vermont's third straight carnival win on the EISA circuit this season was earned with 951 points, 154 more than the host Big Green.

Clementson crushed the field on Saturday earning her second win of the season. Her first run was the fastest in the field by .63 seconds. Her two-run time of 1.38.15 was 1.71 seconds faster than UNH's Zoe Michael who placed second.
Caroline Jones claimed her second EISA podium of the season with a third-place finish in a combined run time of 1.40.32. Justine Clement was the Catamounts final scorer finishing sixth overall with a two-run time of 1.41.08.
Lindstol won his fifth race of the season Saturday and his second of the weekend. He trailed Dartmouth's Kalle Wagner by .23 seconds entering the second run. Lindstol's second run time of 50.3 was .86 second faster than Wagner to seal the win.
Mackenzie Wood earned his first EISA podium with a third-place finish. His two-run time was 1.40.47.
David Frisk finished fourth for Vermont as their final scorer just .26 seconds behind Wood.
Mathias Tefre (7th) and
Cole Palchak (10th) also finished in the top-10 for Vermont.
Bizyukova led the way for the Nordic team again on Saturday. She earned her second podium of the weekend placing third in the 10k freestyle with a time of 32:38.1.
Haley Brewster was the Catamounts next scorer placing 12th overall with a time of 33:53.8. UVM's
Waverly Gebhardt finished 13th just 4.3 seconds behind Brewster.
The men's team had four finishers in the top-10 of the 10k freestyle Saturday.
Bjorn Westervelt placed fourth overall with a time of 26:32.2.
Jacob Nystedt placed sixth overall 10.1 seconds behind Westervelt. Matias Ovrum was seventh just 2.4 seconds behind Nystedt.
Finn Sweet was eighth with a mark of 26:52.7.
The EISA circuit continues next weekend at the Middlebury Carnival. The alpine races will be at the Middlebury Snow Bowl while Nordic action will be down the street at the Rikert Nordic Center. A full schedule will be announced next week.
