Joachim Jagge Lindstol and
Ben Ogden earned wins Friday as the Catamounts began their push for a 38th EISA Championship with six podium finishes. After the first day of competition UVM sits in first place with 476 team points. Dartmouth is in second place 85 points back.

Clementson won her third slalom of the 2022 campaign Friday with a two-run time of 1:41.01. Her first run time of 49.08 was .47 seconds faster than anyone else in the field. Her overall margin was .45 seconds after both runs.
Caroline Jones claimed her fifth top-10 of the season placing ninth overall with a two-run time of 1:43.39.
Marina Vilanova was UVM's final scorer of the day finishing 15th with combined time of 1:44.37.
In his first race back from the 2022 Beijing Olympics Ogden won his second race of the EISA season with a dominant victory in the 20k Freestyle. His time of 51:23.6 was 37.1 seconds faster than UNH's Scott Schulz who placed second. TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week
Jacob Nystedt followed up his two first career wins last weekend with a third-place finish today. Nystedt earned his third straight podium with a time of 52:14.3. Matias Ovrum was fifth Friday with a time of 52:58.9. Greg (54:02.8) and Aidan (54:41.6) Burt also earned top-10 finishes.
Lindstol earned his sixth win of the season in the slalom with a two-run time of 1:28.33. His first run time of 41.23 was 1.89 seconds faster than anyone else in the field. Lindstol has won all of the slalom races this season.
David Frisk was UVM's next finisher, placing eighth overall with a combined-run time of 1:30.85. It was Frisk's second top-10 of the season.
Cole Palchak was UVM's final scorer of the day finishing 16th .98 seconds behind Frisk.
Bizyukova earned her ninth straight top-five with a second-place finish Friday. Her time of 44:13.6 was just six seconds behind Dartmouth's Margaret Gellert in the 15k Freestyle.
Waverly Gebhardt earned her fourth podium of the season finishing third just .8 seconds behind Bizyukova.
Libby Tuttle was UVM's final scorer, finishing sixth overall with a time of 44:22.6.
Haley Brewster (44:44.6) also earned her third straight top-10.
The 2022 EISA Championships wraps up tomorrow with the alpine teams competing in the giant slalom and the Nordic squads competing in the 5/10k Classic.
