CRAFTSBURY, Vt. –
Finn Sweet won the 10k Classic for the Catamounts and
Anna Bizyukova and
Greg Burt earned podiums as Vermont doubled its lead on day two of the UVM Carnival from the Craftsbury Outdoor Center Saturday. The Catamounts are in first place after the Nordic races with 518 points. Dartmouth sits in second place 82 points behind Vermont.

Sweet earned his first career EISA win with a time of 28:08.5 Saturday in the 10k Classic. He finished 1.7 seconds ahead of Middlebury's Peter Wolter.
Greg Burt earned his third straight EISA podium placing third overall with a time of 28:13.9. Sophomore
Jacob Nystedt was UVM's final scorer of the day placing fourth with a time of 28:28.1.
Bizyukova claimed her fourth straight podium of the season placing second overall in the 10k classic with a time of 32:09.3. Dartmouth's Jasmine Drolet won the race in a time of a 31:34.2
Annie McColgan placed fourth overall for the Catamounts, finishing with a time of 33:08.6. The Catamounts final scorer of the morning was
Phoebe Sweet, who placed sixth with a mark of 33:11.9.
Waverly Gebhardt also earned a top-10 placing eighth.
The EISA circuit will continue next weekend with the Dartmouth Carnival. Nordic races will take place at Oak Hill Touring Center while the alpine races will be at the Dartmouth Skiway. Friday's action will feature the GS and a 5/10k Classic.
