TRACK & FIELD NOTEBOOK
Vermont track & field splits off into two meets this weekend, with trips to George Mason and New Hampshire on Saturday (Apr. 9). The day kicks off with the Mason Spring Invitational starting at 9:30 a.m. at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va. A group of Catamounts will also return to New Hampshire for the second week in a row, to compete in the UNH Wildcat Invite in Durham, N.H. Events at UNH begin at 11 a.m. and will broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV.

WHO'S AT MASON?
The Catamounts will compete against a challenging field at the Mason Spring Invitational. Six men's teams ranked on the USTFCCCA's Mid-Atlantic poll will be in the field, including nationally-ranked Princeton and America East foe UMBC. Six teams on the women's side are also ranked in the Mid-Atlantic poll.

Two Catamounts will make the return home to the George Mason area on Saturday. Mid-distance specialists
Bill Comstock and
Charlotte Crum are both graduates of George Mason High School, and are from nearby Falls Church, Va.

WHO'S AT UNH?
UVM returns to New Hampshire for the second-straight week on Saturday at Wildcat Stadium. The Catamounts will face America East counterparts Maine, UMass Lowell, and UNH. Holy Cross, Bates, and Southern New Hampshire will also be in the field.

BACK TO DURHAM
Vermont battled strong winds New Hampshire a week ago, but turned in impressive performances.
Carolena Bellini soared for a personal-best 5.74-meter mark in the long jump to take first place. Her jump ranks No. 7 on Vermont's all-time list.
Alex Rokosz also secured a first-place finish in the javelin, with a throw of 55.26 meters in the windy conditions. The Catamounts added nearly 10 more individual victories at the Invite.

LOOKING AHEAD TO THE AE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Vermont will host the 2022 America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 7 & 8 at the Frank H. Livak Track & Field Facility. The Catamounts host the conference championships for the first time since 2016.

Tickets for the 2022 America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships are available at
UVMathletics.com/Tickets. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (14 & under). Tickets will also be sold at the Gutterson Fieldhouse Box Office, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Separate tickets are required for each day of the Championships.
