SWIMMING AND DIVING NOTEBOOK 
The Catamounts (5-1) will host UMass (0-2) in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon in their annual Rally Around Mental Health Meet presented by Redstone. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV.

AMERICA EAST WEEKLY RECOGNITIONS  
Tannah Proudfoot has earned three America East weekly awards this season as Female Diver of the Week. Proudfoot, a first year from Johannesburg, South Africa, earned her third America East weekly honor of the season after placing first in the one-meter and three-meter dive against Maine (Nov. 4). In the meet with New Hampshire, her score of 280.95 in the one-meter dive was a UVM first year and Varsity record, while her score of 282.68 in the three-meter dive was also a Vermont first year and Varsity record. 
Jackie House has also earned two America East weekly awards for the Catamounts this season as Female Swimmer of the Week (Oct. 17 & Nov. 12).
 
MEET TIMELINE 
The two teams will compete in a 16-event format on Saturday afternoon beginning with the 200 medley relay starting at 1 p.m. After the 200 medley relay the two teams will compete in the 1000 free, 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly and 50 free before heading into the diving events. The Catamounts and Minutewomen will square off in the three-meter and one-meter dives. Following the diving portion of the meet, the two teams will compete in the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, 500 free, 100 fly and 200 IM before concluding the meet with the 400 medley relay.
 
SCOUTING UMASS 
The Minutewomen enter Saturday's matchup with a 0-2 record in dual meets, having lost to Yale (163-126) and in a tight one with Boston (153-145). However, UMass has three top three finishes at invitationals this season, including a first place finish at the Justin Jennings Invitational. UMass also placed second, right behind UVM at the NJIT Invitational earlier this season. At the Terrier Invitational the Minutewomen placed third with a score of 1223.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES 
This will be the fifth dual meet all-time between the Catamounts and Minutewomen, with UMass holding a 4-0 advantage in the series. The last time these two teams met in a dual meet was last season in Amherst, Mass. where UMass came away with a 178-122 victory. The Catamounts and Minutewomen will faceoff for the second time this season, but first in a dual meet. Vermont edged out UMass 1133-1045 to claim first place at the NJIT Invite (Oct. 13-14) earlier this season.
 
WHAT'S NEXT 
Following Saturday's meet against UMass the Catamounts will have a second straight meet at Forbush Natatorium when they host UConn on Saturday, December 9. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV.
