Theresa Schafzahl, who is pursuing her Certificate of Graduate Study in Community Resilience & Planning, is our TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending February 12.

Schafzahl had three goals and two assists for the Catamounts on Senior Weekend presented by the UVM Alumni Association. The program's all-time leader in goals, assists and points now has 39 points this season which leads the team. Her 19 goals this season are tied for the ninth most in the NCAA.
With Vermont's 3-0 win over Maine on Saturday the Catamounts clinched their second-straight 20-win season. Vermont will host the Hockey East Quarterfinals at Gutterson Fieldhouse for the third consecutive season. Action is scheduled for Saturday, February 25 at 1 p.m. Tickets are available now at

Vermont will close out the regular season with a two-game series at New Hampshire this weekend. The Catamounts will face the Wildcats at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 17 and again Saturday at 2 p.m. Vermont will need just a single point in their final two games to clinch the two-seed in the Hockey East Tournament.
