Mina Poppas earned All-Conference honors Wednesday evening winning the 800 free relay for Vermont for the second straight season. After the first day of competition the Catamounts sit in sixth place with 68 team points. After claiming two of the top-three places in 3m diving New Hampshire leads with 111 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts won the 800 free relay for the third time in program history with a time of 7:23.72. UVM beat the second place Bryant Bulldogs in the race by 3.93 seconds.
- Vermont finished fifth overall in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:44.76. Poppas, Laney, Autumn Bullinger and Natalie Schlemmer earned 28 points for the Catamounts in the event.
- Catamount first years Emma Wainwright, Lilly Acker, Abby Miller and Ellie Fazio set a new program record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:46.87. They topped the record, set in 2022, by .64 seconds.
WHO'S NEXT
The Catamounts are back in action tomorrow for day two of the championships and the first day of a full schedule. UVM will compete in the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 200 free relay. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow and all of the action will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV.
