WORCESTER, Mass. – Vermont's
Jackie House and
Ella Church earned All-Conference honors Thursday night finishing first and second in the 500 freestyle. First year
Natalie Schlemmer set a UVM varsity and first year record in the 200 IM. After the second day of competition Vermont sits in fourth place with 181.5 points just behind UMBC who is at 191.5 in third. New Hampshire has built on their strong first day leading the pack at 314.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- House and Church got the Catamounts off to a hot start on Day two earning first and second in the 500 freestyle. House finished in a time of 4:50.00 and Church came in at a time of 4:52.25. House is only the second Catamount to win the 500 freestyle. Colleen Clark was the first in 2009.
- Schlemmer continued Vermont's strong night setting a Catamount varsity and first year record in the 200 IM finishing in fifth place in a time of 2:03.77.
- Ellie Fazio placed seventh in the 50 freestyle finishing a time of 23.97.
- The combination of House, Fazio, Cailin Campbell and Emma Wainwright finished in fourth in the 200 freestyle relay earning 30 points for the Catamounts.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Catamounts are back in action tomorrow for day three of the championships and the second day of a full slate. UVM will compete in 1m diving, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke and 400 medley relay. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow and all of the action will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV.
