BOSTON – The Vermont women's basketball team claimed two members on the America East All-Conference First Team as well as a member on the All-Conference Third Team and All-Academic team. Mayer Head Women's Basketball Coach
Alisa Kresge received America East Coach of the Year honors. Three Catamounts earned year-end honors from the league.

Emma Utterback was named to America East All-Conference First Team. Utterback started all 28 games for the Catamounts averaging a team-leading 13.8 points per game which was fourth in the conference. She recorded a career-high 10 assists in 40 minutes of action against Miami (OH) on November 11, 2022. She scored in double figures in 22 of 28 games this season including finishing with 20 or more on five different occasions. She reached 1,000 career points in a December 20, 2022, victory over Holy Cross. Utterback led the league in assists per game (4.3), was second in total assists (120) and finished first in assist to turnover ratio (1.8).
Anna Olson was named to the America East All-Conference First Team while also receiving All-Academic honors. Olson receives the All-Academic honor for the first time in her career. A Monticello, Minnesota native, she has been just impressive off the court as she has been on the court this year registering a 3.86 GPA in Biology. Her GPA is second on the team. On the court this season, Olson averaged 11.9 points per game with a team leading 6.1 rebounds per contest on America East leading 51.8 percent shooting from the floor. Her scoring was ranked ninth in the conference during the regular season and her rebounds per game was sixth. Olson started in 27 of 28 games registering double figures in scoring in 19 games and finished with 20 or more in three games including a career-high 26 points at Patrick against American International College. She also recorded a career-high 15 rebounds in an OT victory on the road against Bryant.
Delaney Richason earned All-Conference Third Team honors starting in all 28 games for the Catamounts this season. Richason was a key part of the Catamounts 14 game winning streak that helped them clinch the number one seed in the Jersey Mike's America East playoffs. On the season, Richason averaged 9.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on 41.5 percent shooting from the field and 39.6 percent from beyond three point range. During the 14-game win streak Richason was a leader averaging 11.6 points per game with 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest on 47.5 percent shooting and 46.7 percent from three point range. She scored in double figures nine times in those 14 games and registered a career-high 21 points twice.
The one-seed Catamounts will host eight-seed Bryant in the America East Quarterfinals tomorrow at Patrick Gym. This is the first time since the 2002 season that the Catamounts have clinched the number one seed in the America East Playoffs.
