LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Waverly Gebhardt and
Jacob Nystedt earned All-American honors Saturday as the Catamounts claimed 104 team points in the 20k Classic to finish fourth overall at the 2023 NCAA Skiing Championships. Vermont finished the four-day competition with 343 points and topped their eastern rival Dartmouth by 7.5 points. The University of Utah won their fourth straight NCAA Championship with 526 points.

Nystedt earned his third career All-American nod with a career-best third place NCAA finish in the 20k Classic. He finished in a time of 55:17.4, which was 22.8 seconds behind Harvard's Remi Drolet who claimed the individual national title.
Greg Burt was 21st overall for UVM in a time of 59:31.7.
Finn Sweet was 23rd with a mark of 1:00:04.1.
Waverly Gebhardt was 10th overall Saturday earning Second-Team All-America honors. She finished in a time of 1:03:05.8. Utah's Novie McCabe won the day with a margin of 19.6 seconds, finishing in 1:00:04.3.
Haley Brewster just missed out on the top-10 finishing 5.9 seconds behind her teammate in 12th place.
Annie McColgan was 19th on the day with a mark of 1:05:07.0.
