WATERVILLE, Maine –
Haley Brewster continued her incredible run Saturday earning her fourth win of the season in the 20k Classic. In total, the Catamounts earned four podiums this afternoon with Justine Clément and
Cydnie Timmermann finishing second and third in the slalom and
Finn Sweet placing third in the men's 20k Classic. The Catamounts finished second overall in the Colby Carnival with 783 points, they finished 54 points ahead of Middlebury. Dartmouth claimed the first completed carnival of the season with 912.5 points.

Brewster made it four-for-four this afternoon with a blistering time of 1:03:16.6 in the grueling race. She finished 26.9 seconds ahead of the closest competition. She had the fastest time in the field in the final two loops of the 2.5k course.
Libby Tuttle and
Annie McColgan also earned top-10 spots to round out Vermont's scorers in the event. Tuttle was eighth in a time of 1:05:58.3 and McColgan was ninth in a time of 1:06:24.2.
Finn Sweet also picked up back-to-back podiums this weekend placing third in the men's 20k Classic. He completed the course in a time of 54:49.7. Dartmouth's John Steel Hagenbuch matched Brewster's feat claiming his fourth win of the year, he finished 3.1 seconds ahead of Sweet.
Aidan Burt had his best finish of the season placing 16th in a time of 57:23.7.
Owen Young also posted a season-best finish in 18th finishing 21.7 seconds behind his teammate.
In the slalom, the Catamounts earned the most points of any team with a dominant 2-3-4 finish. Clément was second overall with a combined run time of 1:38.77. Dartmouth's Allie Resnick won the day finishing .79 seconds ahead of Clément. Timmermann earned her second career podium placing third with a two-run time of 1:38.92.
Moa Clementson was fourth overall with a combined run time of 1:39.63. It was Clementson's 14th career EISA top-10 finish.
For the second straight day first year
Magnus Berge Styren was the Catamounts top male alpine finisher. He placed 16th overall with a two-run time of 1:42.51. New Hampshire's Isac Hedstroem won the event with a combined time of 1:41.22.
Mackenzie Wood was UVM's final scorer, he was 18th finishing .31 seconds behind Styren.
While the Nordic squads have next weekend off the alpine teams will gather in Stowe for the conclusion of the UVM Carnival. Teams will compete Friday in the GS and Saturday in slalom from Mt. Mansfield Ski Club. Start times will be posted on UVMAthletics.com when available. At the conclusion of the Nordic action in the UVM Carnival the Catamounts sit in third place with 367 points, 18 behind second place Middlebury. Dartmouth sits in first with 490 points.
