STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Haley Brewster led the Catamounts once again on Saturday earning National Runner-Up honors this time in the 20k Classical. In eight collegiate races this season only three skiers managed to best Brewster. After the final day of competition UVM moved up to sixth place with 300 points. Colorado overcame a 51-point deficit entering today's action to claim their 21st National Title and first since 2015.

Brewster earned First-Team All-American honors finishing in a time of 1:02:41. Dartmouth's Jasmine Drolet won the national title besting Brewster by 3.3 seconds.
Libby Tuttle placed 14th with a time of 1:05.04.3. Her teammate
Annie McColgan was right behind her in 15th just seven-tenths of a second later. As a team, the Catamounts earned 70 points in the event, third best in the field.
Colorado's Magnus Boee won the men's 20k Classical with a time of 55:38.0, besting Denver's Florian Knopf by 4.1 seconds. Vermont's
Bjorn Westervelt was their top-finisher placing 22nd overall in a time of 58:58.1.
Finn Sweet placed 29th overall in a time of 1:00:33.0 and
Benon Brattebo was 32nd in a time of 1:00:52.9. The Catamounts earned 11 team points in the event.
