STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Magnus Berge Styren earned Second Team All-American honors and
Cydnie Timmermann placed 11th overall leading the Catamounts on day three of the 2024 NCAA Championships in the slalom. After the third day of competition UVM sits in seventh place with 219 points. Utah continues to lead with 444.5 points, they hold a 43.5-point lead over the Denver with one day to go.

Styren placed seventh overall with a two-run time of 1:20.27, earning All-American honors for the second time in three days. Colorado's Filip Wahlqvist won the event with a combined run time of 1:19.38, .49 seconds faster than anyone else in the field. His first run of 37.15 was the fastest in the field.
Declan McCormack and
Kyle Alexander both DNF'd on the second run, among four skiers to do so. McCormack had the second fastest first run in the field at 37.31.

Timmermann was the Catamounts top finisher in the women's slalom with a two-run time of 1:26.50 good for 11th place. Colorado's Magdalena Luczak had the fastest first run in the field at 42.09 and carried that momentum into an individual national title with a combined run time of 1:25.43.
Justine Clément was UVM's final scorer placing 24th in a two-run time of 1:27.84. Her second run of 42.22 was the fastest in the field by .30 seconds.
Hanna Larsson Nathhorst DNF'd on her second run after posting the 15th fastest first run in the field.
