BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont women's basketball program has officially announced its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season. Their slate includes 10 individual games, the Alaska Anchorage Tournament, and the Cancun Challenge. The Catamounts are scheduled to face three teams from the 2024 NCAA Tournament: Holy Cross, Princeton, and Rice.

- The Catamounts open the 2024-25 season with an exhibition game against Saint Michael's College at 6 p.m. on October 29 at Patrick Gym.
- The regular season will begin on opening night in the NCAA with a home contest against Missouri on November 4 at 6 p.m., the program's first meeting ever.
- Following the matchup, Vermont will head to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers on November 8. Minnesota is coming off a 20-16 season, which saw them make the WNIT tournament final.
- The Catamounts will then return home for a two-game homestand against Providence and Holy Cross on November 12 and 16. The Crusaders are coming off their second straight NCAA tournament appearance and Patriot League Championship. Holy Cross also defeated UT Martin, 72-45, to secure its second NCAA win in program history.
- Following that, Vermont will hit the road for a single game at Dartmouth on November 18.
- After that game, the Catamounts will hit the road for a week, traveling to Anchorage, Alaska, to compete in the ConocoPhillips Great Alaska Shootout. Vermont will play North Dakota State on Friday, November 22. Then, they will play either Troy or Alaska-Anchorage the next day.
- The Catamounts will then travel south to Cancun to compete in the Cancun Challenge. They will take on Idaho State on November 28 and Rice on November 29. Both matchups will be the program's first meetings.
- Following both tournaments, Vermont will travel to Bucknell on December 4 at 11 a.m.
- The Catamounts will then return home for a two-game homestand to wrap up their non-conference home slate with visits from Manhattan (December 7) and Quinnipiac (December 15).
- The Catamounts will complete their non-conference schedule with two road games as they travel to Buffalo (December 19) and a rematch with Princeton from a year ago (December 21). The Bulls finished last year 19-14 and were runner-up's in the Mid-American Conference as they fell to Kent State in the MAC championship. The Tigers were Ivy League Champions a year ago after finishing 25-5 before falling in the first round of the NCAA tournament to West Virginia.
