BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (4-1-3) faces UMass (5-2-2) Tuesday night in the Catamounts penultimate non-conference matchup of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Virtue Field on in the Catamounts annual Rally Against Cancer Game presented by Mascoma Bank. The Vermont Cancer Center will be tabling at the entrance with rally towels. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender, which represents the fight against all cancer, to tomorrow's match. The action from Burlington will be broadcast live on
ESPN+ with Brian Mclaughlin on the call.

INSIDE THE MATCHUP
- Tuesday night is UMass' final non-conference game of the regular season. They currently sit 10th in the RPI.
- On Saturday the Minutemen turned around a 2-0 deficit to defeat Fordham 3-2 on the road with a 90th minute game-winner. Graduate forward Johan Feilscher scored the game-winner, marking his second straight contest finding the scoresheet.
- UMass has faced two America East opponents this season. On August 26 they settled for a scoreless draw at Bryant and on September 11 they blasted UMass Lowell 7-1 at home.
- UMass was picked to finish sixth in the preseason Atlantic 10 poll. The Minutemen have scored 22 goals this season, most in the A10.
- Senior UMass forward Alex Hughes is second in the NCAA with 1.11 goals per game. He has 10 goals in nine games this season and 45 in his career. He posted hat tricks this year against the River Hawks and Dartmouth.
- The Catamounts are 7-3-4 all-time against the Minutemen. They last met in a 1-1 draw at UMass last season. UMass has won just two of the last 12 matchups against Vermont.
